Hi, I'm Awatif Mehta, a certified yoga instructor dedicated to helping people discover balance, strength, and peace in both body and mind. My journey with yoga began in the year 2016 when I found out that I had an extremely weak spine, glutes and hamstrings and at the age of 25 I was pretty inflexible due to the frequent landing and takeoffs that were part and parcel of my previous line of work, as a flight cabin attendant. I was also not aware of the importance of working on stress on a more regular basis as that causes constant trauma to the mind as well as the body. It has since become my passion to gain knowledge on all that yoga can do for us and this in turn is something I would like to teach and empower others with too.
My classes are a blend of traditional practices with modern techniques, making yoga accessible and enjoyable for all skill levels. I believe that yoga is not just a workout but a way to connect deeply with oneself and the world. My goal is to guide you through each pose mindfully, helping you feel more grounded, flexible, and at peace.
